FUKT is an annual magazine dedicated to contemporary drawing and illustration, established in Trondheim, Norway in 1999 and now based between Berlin and Oslo. Edited by artist Bjørn Hegardt and designed by Ariane Spanier, it is one of very few international drawing magazines ad-free, beautifully made, and built around a new theme each issue (The Sex Issue, The Words Issue, The Faces Issue, The Sound Issue). Its award-winning, ever-changing covers and roster of contributors - from Louise Bourgeois and Keith Haring to David Shrigley and Julie Mehretu - have made it genuinely collectable.
Its Squarespace site takes a visual-first approach that lets the artwork lead, with a restrained design that still carries a strong personality. Navigation spans Shop, Magazine, Subscribe, About, Activity & Press, Stockists and Contact, combining an integrated store and subscription system with an extensive, browsable archive of every contributor.
