Adrienne Raquel

Adrienne Raquel is a New York–based photographer and art director whose lush, colour-saturated imagery is rooted in femininity, soulfulness and fantasy. A School of Visual Arts graduate, she has shot for Apple, Dior, Coach, Nike, Pat McGrath Labs and Harper's Bazaar, and her work has appeared in landmark surveys of contemporary image-making including Aperture's "New Black Vanguard" and Mickalene Thomas's "Better Nights" at Miami's Bass Museum, foregrounding a bold vision for how the Black body is represented in fashion photography.

Squarespace powers her online presence, and she's one of the platform's featured photographers. She customised the "Avenue" template into a photograph-grid homepage, then used the style editor to tune colour, type and imagery until the site matched her signature aesthetic exactly - with the flexibility to spin up new pages quickly as a constantly working, jet-setting artist.
